What a marvelous array of berets! Each girl was lucky to get one the suits her, and has a dress to go with it . I could never pick a favorite - but there sure are several that I think are special. the tweed ones really make me feel warm and cozy when I look at them, and the Autumn colored one is a winner , not just because I love the color, but I love the cardigan that goes with it!
ReplyDeleteYou must have knitting in your hands all day long, wherever you go!
Lorraine, the previous post was from me, Janet, not my husband Russ. I didn't realize that his account was the one that was open.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, and here I thought I had a new follower ;-) I really only knit in the evenings - very rarely ever during the day. Knitting in the evenings is a good distraction for me as if I don't do anything while watching a DVD my arm hurts more. Strange...
DeleteYou have been busy Lorraine! Now, I hear that they all want scarves and mittens to go with them now...LOL! Only kidding!!
ReplyDeleteThey look great, I like the multicolour one on the girl second from right, third row down.
Just amazing Lorraine, the way you've created so many different looks and effects from just one simple pattern - and as Janet has said they all seem to suit the individual girls so well! and as for the mosaic picture - just brilliant! I still think it would make a great Sasha poster. Well done. Jude D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great variety of colours and textures from one beret pattern. I can't pick a favourite, they're all good. I'm glad knitting helps with pain distraction, it is amazing how keeping physically and mentally occupied can make such a difference when managing illness or difficult situations. Making things keeps me saner than I might be without occupying my hands and brain creating things.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see that EVERYONE now has a beret of their own to wear!
ReplyDelete'Been there, done that! What's next?'
What's next? Christmas dresses! I'd made some for my sales table, but obviously didn't get there so have decided to add them to the Christmas dresses I had made last year and make each of my girls one for Christmas! I think I have about 8 or 9 still to make. Need to check before I get started! Always got to have something on the go!
