Hi Henry! What a fantastic sweater you are wearing. Did Mum make it for you? Wish I had one like that, but I DO have a Dollydoodles hoodie coming soon. I love autumn. The colours are great, aren't they? I'm going to pick blackberries this afternoon. Are you planning to have a bonfire next month? Wheeeeeeee fireworks! Then it will be Christmas, soon after. Yay! If you aren't going away, like to New Zealand or somewhere special, maybe we could get together for the Christmas holidays when there's no school? Do you think your Mum and my Mum would let me visit you? Emrys
Hi there Emrys, no Mum didn't make my sweater - it was made by the lady who made all the fabulous smocked dresses at the Sasha Festival. I am lucky to have it.
Ooh blackberries - yummy, don't eat too many and make yourself sick...
We don't have a bonfire because of the animals that live here, but we do watch others!
Christmas holidays sounds like good fun, you would definitely be more than welcome to come for a holiday.
Henry, you look very dapper todaybin yourbdesigner outfit. Maybe you can drive a race car someday. You also look like you are having fun in the leaves. It is rainy here today, so no playing in the leaves for me today :(
I too love the Autumn's weather (far more than the hot Summer's) BUT not the millions of falling leaves in my back garden from the HUGE Sycamore Tree that dominates the scene. I seem to spend such a lot of my time over the next two months (and sometimes into December if there hasn't been any severe frosts) trying to keep on top of collecting them all up so as to let the lawn breath and see the light of day.
Great to see Henry enjoying himself amongst the dry leaves as we don't want his new US Festival jumper getting stained by any damp/wet leaves.
I have to say I prefer summer, although not the real heat. It is a real job to keep on top of the leaves. We have lots of trees surrounding us so always lots of raking of leaves to keep busy.
Hey, you're having lots of fun there in the leaves Henry! We haven't got a lot of falling leaves yet, but it won't be long now! You could take some of them inside and varnish them and stick them in a scrap book!
