The blondes are putting in a case for attending the Festival

The blondes are vying for attention in the 'Who is going to the Sasha Festival' sweepstakes!

Sasha is quite happy to stay at home as she said she has done enough travelling and doesn't want to risk being re-homed again!  Who can blame her?

Sally and Alice are home girls and have no thoughts of going anywhere...

However, Charlotte in a bid to show how much she is needed so that she can be taken off my For Sale page thought she would put in a case for going.

See how this blue goes so well with my eyes and blonde hair?

I can stand well...

I've been modelling the outfit for your 'Dress A Sasha' entry - so I SHOULD be allowed to go!

Next up Victoria makes a plea to come...

I too can model...

I have gorgeous hair and eyes...

Just forget my missing hair plugs (missed out at the factory)  ...they don't really matter!

  1. Oh dear, and you haven't heard from the redheads or brunetts yet...

    1. Monica has falling hair so doesn't want to risk the changes in temperature and the same goes for Molly, although her hair isn't falling, she doesn't want to risk it and any way she said she went last year, so doesn't want to be 'greedy'. The brunettes are VERY particular about their crowning glory. The only other brunette is Tilly Rose and she is quite happy to stay at home.

I only have two redheads (Trendon) one for which is hoping for a new home, the other Julie, I bought at the Festival last year so she wants to stay at home this year...the only other red head I have is my Gotz girl Amber and she said she is far too 'precious' to undertake such a journey and as she went last year is quite happy 'sitting it out' this year.

Emily of course is wanting to go...but I did tell her she went last year, so may not be able to go this year.

  2. From the looks of things then Meredith has been eliminated, being just too precious, from travelling with 'Dear' Henry and you....so if I were having to make the decision then I'd certainly be looking for a well-stringed, good stable standing, pretty girl that photographs well...as these will be the photos of what might be (but I hope NOT for your sake!) a 'once in a lifetime' US Sasha Festival that we will all hoefully be seeing and admiring (if Henry doesn't take ALL the limelight!) and you, no doubt will look back on again and again in the future.

Both these girls from the previews here fit this bill so it is going to be a very hard decision.
If you are concerned about any accidental mishaps etc (which we all know can happen to the best of us) happening to them then I'd take Charlotte rather than Victoria.

I, in the end, chose to take four of my irreplaceable (though insured) dolls to the UK Festival (as I knew that it would be my one and only Sasha Festival) Belle in her exquiste winning pinafore in the Ted Menton contest, Ross, the first Gregor re-root by Jackie Rhydstrom and a rather unique concave faced 1967 NP (although that naughty {but now quite famously recognisable} baby Quirky squeezed himself in at the last minute without my knowledge AND still in his PLAY dungarees!)
Luckily no harm came to any of them and they arrived back safe and sound although tired from all the excitment.

Good luck with this hard decision.

    1. Oh it is a hard decision Kendal. I would love to take Meredith, but she is very special to me, so I would hate for something to happen to her. Mind you I would hate anything to happen to any of them and the chances are nothing will, but still...

I think you are probably right and it will be Charlotte, who certainly looks like she is here to stay anyway and why not a treat for her - she has been so unsure of her position in this Sasha family...and she models my Dress A Sasha outfit just perfectly.

  3. Errm, hard decision, but I'd go with Charlotte too I think. Then if you had any interest in her whilst there, you could sell her and bring someone else home with you! Seeing as Charlotte was already up for sale!
    There you go...sorted!!!! LOL

    1. Good point Sharon...although it would then kind of defeat the purpose of selling her! LOL

    2. Thought I might take Molly - but just this minute brushed her hair and it is now falling slightly so probably best not to take the risk of differing temperatures.

  4. I'll be bringing Felicity, my 1969 blonde Sasha. (With half-part, two-toned hair, and handpainted eyes -- I feel a bit like Hyacinth Bucket, "and room for a pony".) She'd love to meet one of your blondes, Lorraine. But, if you happen to have anyone especially unique, it's fun to show off a really unique doll, for everyone to oooh and aaah over.

    1. I'd quite like to bring my new boy Francis - but that kind of will defeat the purpose, as I need a Sasha! ;-) Ginger has suggested that Pinny is 'my girl' for the Festival before she returns home.

  5. I forgot your gallery is online --- why not TIlly Rose? Or Danielle? They're both stunning and unique.

    1. Tilly Rose isn't always the easiest to pose ;-) She has a mind and will of her own! Danielle has been partially restrung by me and is um a bit 'wobbly'! lol She is waiting to be restrung properly by Brenda W at some stage.

But they are thrilled by your compliments. :-)

  6. We're going to be selling some wood saddle stands at the festival - handmade by DH. $10 USD and they're really handy for wobbly dolls. A little birdie says, if you sit at the table which Gabi, Gracie & I are hostessing, there just may be one in the goodie bag for each of our table guests. ;-) I wish I could bring DH and DS - they're wonderful restringers and they considered doing a bit of restringing while we all attended the festival. But they're staying home to mind the cat & dog.

I can't wait to see who you bring, and - more importantly - can't wait to meet you in the flesh!
