Patchwork

I had a load of tiny patch work squares that I had started to sew together.

Today I decided to make a skirt with them.

Which then meant I had to make a blouse as well!

Julie is modelling this rather whacky creation - which perhaps would have been better with a plain white shirt - might make one another day.

Light vignetting...

Antique look...

With the blouse untucked...

  2. Looks like it was a labour of love!
Rather you than me sewing all those tiny squares together!
At least it must have kept you out of mischief.

  3. Looks really pretty Lorraine! I like patchwork and the finished effect looks great here!
This is the sort of skirt that my Ellory would enjoy wearing!

    1. It was a little bit of whimsy and fun :-) Not sure I have it on the right girl yet though - will have to do some trying on different girls.

  4. I also think it is quite cute, and definitely a one-of-a-kind....I think it would be cute with a little knitted sweater in a solid color, maybe an off-white cotton summer sweater?
