Oh what a lovely idea and gesture Lorraine!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on two years of blogging! I have no idea how long I've been blogging, it doesn't feel that long, I will have to go and look. I think I'd give away the rain that is currently pouring down on us!!
Hugs Sharon xx
Thanks Sharon - it is my pleasure :-)
DeleteIt is raining here as well and jolly cold as well!
Lorraine, I just went and looked and I started my current blog on the 17th July 2011!!! I didn't even realise it was one year, never mind almost two!
DeleteLorraine, this is a truly lovely gesture. I wish I could sew, cross-stitch and artwork is what I do best.
DeleteThank you and please enter me in your giveaway contest.

Spoilt for choice, they are sweet dont know why but i feel more drawn to Meredith, just something about her, also i just love there outfits, how nice of you to have this contest to celebrate your 2nd anniversary HAPPY 2ND anniversary :)
DeleteThat is so kind of you. Especially since I know you are trying to raise money for the Sasha festival. How is that going so far? I myself am trying to plan for 2014...I would love to enter the give-away! Of course if I was lucky enough to win, I wouldn't want the post to be too costly. Interesting that it's been two years- I didn't realize that. That's how long I have been following the Sasha community and your blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kirsten, I have really appreciated your support and encouragement over the last couple of years. :-)
DeleteOh, I didn't say how pretty the girls are! Who made the dresses?
ReplyDeleteA lady in the US made the blue dress I believe and Norvell made Meredith's dress.
DeleteTwo years already? The time has flown! Marcia and Meredith have lovely looking treats to celebrate! :-) Lauri
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has! Where have the last two years gone?
DeleteI have been blogging since 2007 (although the first was a private invite only blog). My Balancing Kiwi blog I have had since 2009 - seems incredible!
Congratulations on two years on blogging. I've really enjoyed the Sasha related posts. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteNot at all, sure just how long I've been doing it. I originally started on Blogspot but then transferred to Wordpress.
Will try to see if I can find out tomorrow when I visit my blogs although I know at the moment that I have done 702 individual posts on Wordpress.
Lovely girls, very prettily dressed, enjoying a celebratory scrumptious looking afternoon tea.
Oh it could be scary to know Kendal! To think I have been blogging since 2007 is rather scary!
DeleteI like the smocking on Marcia and Meredith's dresses, very pretty. I hope they are careful not to spill their tea on their dresses.
ReplyDeleteThey were very careful Anna :-)
DeleteBeautiful girls in beautiful clothes sharing afternoon tea. What a lovely way to celebrate. Congratulations. I look forward to more!
ReplyDeleteJust got to get my son packed off on his next cruise, and then I will definitely be doing more to keep my mind off his absence - I think it will be harder this time, it has been so lovely having him home.
DeleteHappy anniversary Lorraine :). Lovely photo!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginger! :-)
DeleteYour girls look especially festive in their smocked dresses....lovely party for 2nd anniversary. It doesn't seem that long ago....wishing you many more blogging years.

(Sorry to be in the "anonymous" catagory but my google information is all messed up.)
No problem Winnie, thank you for your visit and lovely comment.
DeleteThis morning I visited my blogspot and Wordpress' blogs 'Kendalsashabrood' and discovered that my very first introductory post on there was on 28th July 2009 followed by a Sasha Doll post on 20th August 2009.
ReplyDeleteCan hardly believe that I have been blogging for nearly FOUR years now! Unbelievable! (Three years ten months.) Where has the time gone?
(Daren't think the other way as to how much time I have spent with my Sasha Dolls instead of doing those things and jobs that I should have been getting on with instead.)
'Thanks' or should I be saying 'No-thanks' for high-lighting this as now feeling rather guilty as I often complain that I never have the time to do the things that should be done!
Amazing isn't it Kendal? I wonder where the time has gone as well. To think I started following your blog not long after my surgery four years ago!
DeleteMarcia and Meredith look lovely in their party finery. I can't believe it's been two years in the sense that your blog seems like an old friend that I look forward to seeing and have known forever. Mornings are much more enjoyable when they start out with news of Henry or another of the clan. Here's wishing you many more posts.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoy it Julie - Henry waves and says hello, and hopes he gets a chance to use his beach towel this year! ;-)
DeleteThis is the first time I have seen your Blog. The Sasha's are wonderful. I am just new at Sasha collecting but I love them all. Peace, Jane in NC
ReplyDeleteSo glad you visited and left a comment Jane, it is lovely to have new visitors - welcome! I hope you enjoy some of my ramblings here and the various photos I enjoy posting of my Sasha & Gregor family.
DeleteYour little girls having tea are so wonderful. Always enjoy your blog :) Diana Merle
ReplyDeleteYour little dolls having tea is just darling. Enjoy your blog so much. Thanks, Diana Merle
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lorraine! You do a great job and very successful in keeping us informed across the pond! I sure hope to see you this summer. Brenda
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful New Zealand dresses and such a special way to celebrate a blogiversary! What Sasha kid wouldn't what to dream about kiwis, sea lions, and tuataras? Darling tea party. Thanks for inviting all of us. JD in CT
ReplyDeleteWonderful adventure! Love the NZ prints. Gil says to say hello to Henry for him. He's a big fan. Jackie from Camp Runamuck
ReplyDeleteHey speedy sewing friend, I hope I win as they are both adorable dresses! Now I have to pop over to Henry's lastest post...
ReplyDeleteLovely to see so many other New Zealand prints. I still cherish the outfits I have that you made before. These purple dresses are very special, hope your blog will continue for many more years to come! Love , Fanny
ReplyDeleteI love the batiks, just the right size print for Sasha!
ReplyDeleteSo much to do and see and enjoy-------- It doesn't have to be Sasha Related but sure is nice when it does have Sasha in the story line.
ReplyDeleteAnd now to get ready for bed and another day of fun with Sasha and Gregor.
Congratulations on 2 years of blogging. The smocking on the dresses is beautiful.
