Not a good day for me today, migraine, nausea, the works...but Henry desperately wanted to go with my husband to work on the wood pile this afternoon, so I had to be reluctantly dragged along.
Great fun!
Shall we make a start here? He asks.
Shortly after this, I got asked over to the neighbours for a cup of tea in the warm, so I left the 'men' to it!
Sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well today, hopefully tomorrow will be better for you. In the meantime, glad to see the lads got chopping wood to keep you warm indoors!

Thanks Sharon...I keep hoping tomorrow will be better, sometimes it is...and sometimes (more often unfortunately) it isn't.
DeleteHope the migraine and nausea go soon. Henry looks as though he's in the peak of health and ready to care for his Mum. Jenni xxx
ReplyDeleteSo do I as I really do feel ghastly. Yes Henry is in the peak of health, lucky boy!
DeleteNothing quite like natural scenery backgrounds for our Sasha photos.
ReplyDeleteAm I right in thinking that your husband had recently been chopping down some Leylandi? Have you a wood burner in the house?
I just love the warmth from real fires.
Pleased though, that with not feeling well, you didn't stay outside in the cold for too long.
Today I went back to finish off taking the photos in my late mother's shrubbery that I started to take last week. Whilst there the weather changed fro snowflakes swirling aroung to dull and cloudy to too bright sunshine. Certainly keeps us 'on our toes.'
Natural scenery really does wonders for our photography doesn't it?! It was a tree very close to the neighbours and when the trees were cut on the other side along the fence line, Mark asked if the guy could come back and cut that tree down. Unfortunately we don't have a log burner and neither do the neighbours at the house. I would love to have one one day though.
DeleteThe weather changed continually the whole time we were there....shortly after those three photos the sun disappeared it hailed and then snowed and then cleared up again.
I feel completely and totally rotten...if these are withdrawal symptoms I hope they don't last too long!
I love Henry's hooded sweater. The fit is perfect and it looks so outdoors-y and boyish.
ReplyDeleteI can thoroughly sympathize, Lorraine, being a migraine sufferer myself. Nothing worse. Brave of you to venture out at all, but the photos are worth the effort. Very nice blog and thanks! Hope you get better soon. Love, Karin
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures of Henry and only wish you could feel as cheerful as your dear helper looks. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Lorraine!
