Meet Baby Ginger George

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Baby Ginger to our family.   I was supposed to wait for my birthday before having him 'properly' but hey, I am no good at suspense and surprises, so here he is!

I have had a baby Ginger on my list for a couple of years so was thrilled to finally be able to have one.

Meet Baby Ginger George!

He is wearing a pair of trousers that I made for him today.

Such a cutie and worth waiting for.

  1. I just pulled my little Ginger out of hibernation. They are so cute, aren't they? I never understood why it took Trendon so long to make a red haired baby.

  2. NOT waiting to have him ON your actual birthday is very naughty indeed Lorraine! You'll be crying on the day and wishing that you'd waited.
You should have been 'a goodie' like me who still has to wait for well over a month to give myself my new doll. In the meantime 'it' is carefully hidden away in the drawer under the spare bed so hopefully a case of 'out of sight, out of mind!'

Mind you I did spot him on Shelly's the other day and thought that you might be his new mummy ....as I knew that you have been after a baby Ginger for some time now.

He will make a super little brother for Rory.
He's looking very smart in his new clothes!

    Enjoy him.

    1. Oh I know Kendal, I am such a 'norty' girl...let's just say he was 'premature' ;-) He didn't come from Shelly's either...

I am so pleased to have him, I think he is the baby I have most wanted, and have had to obviously wait the longest for, so that has made him so much more special, I can see him featuring fairly often!

  3. He is a real chubby-faced cutie, Lorraine! Very sweet! I am getting quite fond of babies, especially in a group! As to your birthday... well, who needs presents! A glass of bubbly and a piece of birthday cake - that's surely enough! Enjoy! xxx

  4. Snap!! I was going to bid on him as he was so cute but in the end I bought the one from Shelly's, he certainly looks smart in his new outfit.

    1. How wonderful that you bought the one from Shelly! Means we both have a new baby! So glad you didn't bid on him...I was worried he was going to go too high for me, as it was he was at my limit, so I was lucky!

  5. Congratulations on your new arrival, and here was I not even realising you were 'expecting'!!! LOL.
Such a cute little baby and a cute outfit too. And as Kendal says, a great little brother for Rory.
PS For a premature baby, he's looking exceptionally spritely! LOL

    1. Well looking at my belly at the moment, it is surprising I'm not expecting! LOL Just when I was pleased I had lost 1/2 stone from coming off some of the meds, it has all piled straight back on again.

He is going to be a great brother for Rory, and yes he is rather spritely indeed.

  6. He's a darling! The baby Ginger at our house is a little girl. (She's Gabi's and I think her name is Flora.) Isn't it fascinating how each individual doll is so different? Yours has a definite boyish look to him! :-) I think he might be someone to keep an eye on, I imagine he's eager to get into some mischief. xxx Lauri
