Boy in Garden - 4

Today's Boy in the Garden is the lovely blue eyed, blonde hair lad, Emrys, the brother of James and a friend of Henry, who has been staying here for a while now.

  1. How super that the two brothers are staying with 'Dear' Henry! 'Double the fun' though I'm not sure, looking at these two attractive lads, that they will be 'double the trouble!'
Am I presumingn that Emrys is a Welsh name? It's delightfully unusual.
Love how Jenni dresses her lads in DDs.
The new pond is proving to be a great attraction.

    1. Jenni's boys outfits are the envy of my lads! I love the navy blue on Emrys, really suits him well and brings out his blue eyes and blonde hair...b

  2. Good morning Emrys! Are you behaving well at Henry's house? Please remember to say thank you for being allowed to take part in the Boy in Garden series, it is quite an honour you know.

Yes, Kendal, Emrys is a Welsh name. Lots of my Sasha family have Welsh names because they do school visits sometimes and the children often choose names for new dolls. Em was my first Sasha doll as a grown up (there's a joke, I'm still not a grown up!) but I just had to send for his baby brother, Gwynfor, the next day as they had looked so sweet together in the Ebay photo.

The pond is a wonderful addition to your garden Lorraine. Any wildlife in there yet? There's a huge long arm digger in our nearest field as a neighbour is putting in new drainage for us and, oh, for joy! he recommended a pond to help ease the flow. I've always wanted a pond.

    1. Yes, on a whole he is being a good boy, as good as boys can be when together as a group anyway! ;-)

Loving the pond, but no wildlife yet...where we went yesterday there were swarms (not the right word I know, but that is what it looked like) of tadpoles...I so wanted to scoop some up to bring home, but didn't of course. I am sure our pond will be discovered eventually, even if not this year. As for wildlife...there are a few midges!

Very excited to hear about your pond, it will be grand! Mum & Dad have a fabulous big one on their property and it is wonderful for wildlife and plants.

  3. What a sweet innocent face! Is he a mid or early 70's Gregor? Such a wistful expression as he's out exploring the garden. :-) Lauri

    1. I am not sure Lauri, I am guessing Jenni will :-) He has a lovely sweet face for sure.

    2. I'm not sure either Lauri, but I think he's a mid. All my Gregors are between 8 and 11 years old, except my no Nose who is 6 (Oops, sorry Bertie, I mean my Tiny-But-Still-Growing Nose boy), so I don't bother much about their production dates - the idea of a huge number of 40 to 50 year old boys lying around the house waiting to be dressed and entertained is too much for me, LOL. His baby brother is older than he is - go figure, as my husband would say!
