A couple of weeks ago my friend Jenni sent me a couple of pictures of Harri wearing his Lederhosen made by Jean Jensen. I thought it would be fun to put one my lads in the set we had and then combine the two together. Well Peter arrived home a couple of days ago after being restrung by Brenda Walton and he volunteered for the job!
Harri and Peter.
Harri is the wonderful lad that I organised the fundraising for as a replacement for Rhodri who was kidnapped (i.e. stolen) earlier this year.
Lorraine, these are simply divine!!! My brothers had some just like it (being an Austrian!!!) and I must have one of these obviously!!! To go with the Dirndl dresses I already have for the girls! Great stuff! Thanks for putting those on! Love Karin
ReplyDeleteP.S hope you are well!!!
How wonderful Karin, I remember your lovely Dirndl dresses. Yes I am good thank you :-)
DeleteThe whole outfit is adorable - right down to their shoes!
ReplyDeleteIt is great isn't it? I have a hat somewhere that goes with it, but I couldn't find it yesterday so not sure who wore it last....they obviously didn't put it away!
DeleteTwo truly wonderful outfits. Another sad reminder of just how gifted Jean was.
ReplyDeleteIndeed Kendal, a very talented person who shall be missed.
DeleteOh, so sad. I didn't know that Jean Jenson had died. She really was an extremely talented person. She will be missed.
DeleteVery clever Lorraine - your skills with the photo editing software are brilliant! The outfit is lovely and you've made it possible for both boys to wear it at the same time.
ReplyDeleteRIP Jean Jenson, she was so very talented.
Thanks Anna, it was a bit of a trial and error as only the second time I have tried to do this sort of thing! Harri lives in Wales so it was fun seeing if I could get him to wear his outfit while Peter was wearing his and have them 'standing together'.
DeleteOh wow! Now I know what Anna means! Just had another look at the pictures and Harri is ever so slightly floating above the ground. Which photo editing software package do you use, Lorraine? I don't have photoshop any more on my computer, alas, not that I was ever good at using it. L Karin x
DeleteThis is a lovely outfit, I really like the Gregors in very short trousers as their little legs are so nice and chubby! Jean was so talented....and such a nice person to chat too aswell.
