Back to School Swap - Part Six

t was lovely to receive an email from Maureen today with a couple of photos attached showing the Back to School Swap gifts she received from her swap partner Jenny.

Marin is the lucky girl to model the look and has captured it quite nicely.  

She certainly looks well prepared for school, complete with the apple for the teacher.

I have just loved seeing all the wonderfully creative school outfits such clever Sasha folk have come up with.

Back to School Swap - Part Six

It is always so lovely to get photos from both the sender and the receiver and yesterday these photos arrived from Kirsten, Carol's swap partner.

This is the lovely outfit that Kirsten made and sent to Carol.

I just love the embroidered flowers on the pocket.  She looks like she is well equipped for the coming cold season.

Beautifully lined and a lovely shirt and skirt with socks to go with it.  She looks like a proper little school girl.

Kirsten was delighted with the school uniform that Carol made and sent her.

The green is just perfect on her gorgeous red head girl.  Just love the cute little teddy as well which I would imagine will be sneaked to school in her pocket or bag!

Back to School Swap - Part Five

Nearly the last of the 'Back to School Swap' photos have come in.

This time the photos are of Carol and Kirsten's swap gifts to each other which are very similar...they say great minds think alike!

The grey outfit is the gift that Kirsten sent to Carol and the green is the one that Carol sent to Kirsten.

Don't these two girls look great in their pleated skirts, already for school.

Looks like they are prepared for a cold winter with their fabulous wool coats.

Off they go walking to school!

Next up we have the gifts Ginger sent to Diane.

Ginger always wore her best dress to school on the first day and so she sent a 'best dress' to Diane.

Isn't this beautiful and very much a 'best dress' for the first day at school.

Back to School Swap - Part Three

DollMum has blogged about the wonderful Back to School Swap gift package she sent to Betty and you can read all about it here.

Today my swap package from Charla arrived.  Thank you so much Charla it is great fun!

Henry is a great big fan of Harry Potter.  He read the books last year when Harry was staying with him (Harry Sluys that is, not Harry Potter!).  You can imagine his delight when he opened the 'Back to School' swap parcel that arrived today.  Well no sooner could you say Boo or rather 'Harry Potter' Henry was changed into his school uniform.

Back to School Swap - Part Two

Some more photos have come in of this fun swap.

First up we have the gifts that Caryn sent to Sheila her swap partner.

Everything in this photo was sent apart from the doll and the table!

Just look at these wonderful things - where DID Caryn find that cute little stapler I wonder?

Looks like she even remembered the spending money for the tuck shop!

Back to School Swap - Gifts Recieved - Part One.

Swappers have started receiving their 'Back to School' Swap gifts and what fun everyone has had.

DollMum swapped with Betty and has received these lovely items.

A beautiful smocked dress and cardigan, camera and trophy

As you can see DollMum's beautiful daughter is intent on helping 'Laura' to hold the macaracas.

My swap partner was Charla

I made her a school 'gym slip' as they used to be known here with a little white shirt and red tie.

I also made a school satchel, a little pencil case (which was rather fiddly I must say!) and included some coloured pencils, an artists palette and a little book.
