Little Peter wanted to open today's window, and the other lads were quite happy to let him, after all their turn was still to come, and some have already had three goes of fun.
What have you got in there Peter?
Connor and Henry peer over to see what Peter has found.
A lovely little tortoise to enjoy
Quite a collection of animals, all arriving in time to enjoy Christmas day...
Sweet boys who are enjoying this calendar and the different twist it has to the usual Advent calendars.
The other evening the sounds of Christmas could be heard and Henry ventured out to have a look
Santa and his sleigh
Came jinggling up the road...excitement indeed!
It is a wonderfully different Advent calendar for sure.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone in the neighborhood is full of the Christmas Spirit! :o)
Today's Advent opening reminded me of the days when we were allowed to have Tortoises as pets.
ReplyDeleteOurs lived in a enclosed pen with a shelter which was moved around on the lawn to give them fresh grass. When we were there outside playing they were allowed to freely roam around the garden as ours was safe and enclosed.
In the Autumn we had to make sure that they were well fed with nourishing foods before they hibernated for the Winter in cardboard boxes filled with straw.
We always looked forward when Spring arrived and they woke up again.

Forgot to say that we have had our Round Table sleigh visit too and I shall be posting this on my blog on Christmas Eve.

Awww cute little Peter seems to really be enjoying his 'gift' from the Advent calendar.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child we used to have a Santa on his sleigh that came around the streets, awww those were the days!
