Blue Monday

Blues on Mondays...

A pretty girl amongst the Forget-me-nots.

This gorgeous dress was made by my dear friend Norvell for the 2013 Sasha Festival in Cincinnati - I won it in the auction.

The little jacket that I have teamed with it was made by Karen W.

I think it is the perfect match for this gorgeous girl.

Introducing Joel

A third Course boy arrived late last year in November.  For some reason I don't seem to have taken any 'arrival' photos of him which is most unusual.  He came wearing his red sweater, scarf and a pair of black corduroy trousers.

I changed him into a pair of denim overalls and made him a pair of shoes.

His hair isn't the best, but it is his original so at present I am keeping him as he is.

His name is Joel.

He has quite soft features.

His new shoes.

More Matching Sasha & Gregor Outfits!

Going through my 'archives' I found another couple of matching boy and girl outfits...

These were the first knitted items I made for Sasha & Gregor - I didn't even have shoes for them then!

Another very early outfit set I made.  Sadly this boy is no longer with me...if I knew then what I knew now he still would be as he had a very good head of hair!

Fashion on Friday

I've decided to call my knitting and sewing round up for the week 'Fashion on Friday' for want of a better name.

First up is Edward modelling a sweater made with pure New Zealand Merino wool, teamed with a pair of 'Kiwiana' trousers made with some of the fabulous fabric I bought while in New Zealand in March.

Next up is Maddison modelling 'Fresh as a  Daisy' outfit, which consists of 3/4 daisy denim print trousers with a white blouse.

After modelling the lovely cream sweater last week and having to part with it, I made Marcia one of her own.

It is slightly different. and was also seen in my 'Wordless Wednesday' post.

I completed the teal tunic order and that is on its way to its new owner.

I knitted a couple of baby rompers this week as well.

Grace is wearing a lilac hues combination.

Whilst Amelia is wearing the blue one.

They look so sweet in these rompers.

Lastly I made one of my Festival Donation items for the CFA.

Modelled by the gorgeous Monica

Most items on this page are available to purchase.  If interested in any please contact me - information on my Sales pages found here and here

I also made a dress and headscarf for Ruby, my muse.

She too has enjoyed sitting amongst the daisies.

Thankful Thursday

Here at Rose Cottage (or should it be Daisy Fields!) we are thankful for the good weather we have had today.

The babies were out today playing on the lawn and having fun with all the daisies.

Grace and Amelia were busy concentrating...

Baby Barney Bam Bam seems to be climbing all over Alfie

But they soon become best of friends.

They are all thankful for their newly knitted romper suits, just in time for the warmer weather.

Blue Monday

Monday Blues?

Not here, just celebrating the rise in barometric pressure and a lovely blue sky and warm day.

Blues on Mondays...

Just love this girl...she is my 'dream' Course girl...the one I had imagined when I first discovered these dolls back in 2011/12.

Matching Sasha & Gregor Outfits.

This week the theme on the Sasha Morganthaler Facebook page is 'Matching Sasha and Gregor' Outfits.

I thought I would look back and see what the boys and girls have here.  It seems we have a few, mostly made by myself.

Annie Matilda and Christopher William always like to wear matching outfits.

This is what they like to wear in the cooler weather - I made these clothes for them when they first arrived.

They are a sweet couple

The really like the 2014 Sasha Festival Souvenir outfits.

In their matching Christmas outfits.

Next up is the outfit I made for the Sasha Festival Auction last year.

Modelled by the delectable Sophia and Peter

This outfit 'Check Mate' was also made last year (SOLD)

Modelled by Sophia and Henry

Next are the little matching outfits shown last Friday

Pukeko Fun - these colourful NZ birds are seen pretty much everywhere you go, along the sides of roads, motorways, near beaches etc. in New Zealand.

Modelled by Thomas and Susan

Up and Away - anyone for a balloon ride?  Really?  Thomas looks surprised!

Another fun NZ print - 'Koru' a Maori design.

I wonder if I have any more?
