Advent 2016 - Day Ten

Morning Christopher William, says Henry in greeting.

Good morning Henry.  Christopher William replies.

So where is ten I wonder?  Christopher William says looking.

Here it is!  Christopher William says while standing on the box.

Hope I can reach it.

Yes!  I can just reach it. Christopher William says as he opens the window.

Oh, looks like I have a little Lego figure to make up.

Henry watches while Christopher William puts the pieces together.

I think this is how he goes.

Ta Da!  Look Henry.

Henry comes over for a closer look.

That is pretty cool he says.  Oh and I worked out what the thing was yesterday.

It is the goal - although I am not sure if that is the proper name for it?

Matching Sasha & Gregor Outfits.

This week the theme on the Sasha Morganthaler Facebook page is 'Matching Sasha and Gregor' Outfits.

I thought I would look back and see what the boys and girls have here.  It seems we have a few, mostly made by myself.

Annie Matilda and Christopher William always like to wear matching outfits.

This is what they like to wear in the cooler weather - I made these clothes for them when they first arrived.

They are a sweet couple

The really like the 2014 Sasha Festival Souvenir outfits.

In their matching Christmas outfits.

Next up is the outfit I made for the Sasha Festival Auction last year.

Modelled by the delectable Sophia and Peter

This outfit 'Check Mate' was also made last year (SOLD)

Modelled by Sophia and Henry

Next are the little matching outfits shown last Friday

Pukeko Fun - these colourful NZ birds are seen pretty much everywhere you go, along the sides of roads, motorways, near beaches etc. in New Zealand.

Modelled by Thomas and Susan

Up and Away - anyone for a balloon ride?  Really?  Thomas looks surprised!

Another fun NZ print - 'Koru' a Maori design.

I wonder if I have any more?

Advent 2015 - Day Nineteen

Christopher and Annie Matilda have heard that today is the day they are to open the calendar..

Hey you guys didn't have to dress up you know.  Henry says.  After all it is WINTER here...you are going to freeze Christopher.

But everyone else seems to be dressing up Henry.  They tell him.

All three look to see if they can find window number 19.

Annie Matilda tells Christopher that he can open the window as it is more of a boy themed calendar in her opinion.

Christopher opens the window.

Hey look what I have found! Christopher exclaims.

Cool!  That looks like a jewel and a shield for the King.  Henry says.

Christopher puts the jewel on the shield.

Now let's see if this King wants his shield.

He bends down and gives the King the shield.

The little King feels very well equipped now with his sword and shield.

This is a great themed calendar Henry - can we stay and play awhile.

Of course!  Henry replies.

Festival Outfits

The Rose Cottage Sasha & Gregor family have been dressing up in Festival outfits.

Christopher William & Annie Matilda are wearing the souvenir outfits from last year (2014)

I love these outfits, especially as there was one for Gregor as well.

This sweet pair are named after my great grandparents.

Even with greening eyes I think they are both lovely.

A few more photos of the sweet couple.

The BBs....The Brunette Boys!

Gwilym is heading off for 'Surgery' as his stringing um, joints are loose....he is a little worried about his upcoming hospital stay, but boys have assured him he will come back 'feeling like new'.  He can still pose reasonably well with clothes on...but without them he is very floppy...he tried to insist that he never plans of posing without clothes on so what is the problem?  His arguments fell on deaf ears however it seems.  He will have company during his stay as poor Emily is in a similar worse state of affairs as she can no longer stand up with ease.  She has insisted that he needs to come and be brave!

The brunette boys thought they would gather for a group photo before he left.

From left to right:  Christopher William, Connor, Henry, Gwilym, Nigel & Pierre

Funnily enough, Gwilym is the earliest of my boys and yet he is the tallest.    Henry is the shortest, although it isn't completely obvious in this photo as he is standing bolt upright and a couple of the other boys are 'slouching'

Advent Day Sixteen

Christopher William and Annie Matilda are both excited to be opening the Advent door today.

They look carefully for the number sixteen..

Christopher William spots it and starts to open it with Annie Matilda watching on closely.

He is slowly opens it.

What are these?  He asks.

No idea?  Annie Matilda replies.

They certainly look very puzzled even when they have taken the items out of the little plastic bag they are still stumped!

Well any guesses?  Christopher William asks.

Nope, I really haven't got a clue.  Annie Matilda replies.

Well I guess we will just put them down some where.

The put the two yellow 'things' down on the table.

The red 'thing' which they have decided might be a school satchel they have put on the book case.

Well they were weird things to get weren't they Annie?  Christopher William says.

They sure were Christopher.  Annie Matilda replies.

The little Christmas scene is getting busier.

Annie Matilda and Christopher William pose for a Christmas photo.

(Christopher William & Annie Matilda were first introduced here  as Richard and Karen, but have since be renamed in memory of my Great Grandparents)
