Advent 2016 - Day Nine

The days are passing by quickly in the lead up to Christmas.  Connor is looking to see if he can find window nine to open.

Here Connor, you might need this.  Henry says as he pushes the wooden box over for Connor to stand on.

Thank you Henry, says Connor as he uses Henry's shoulder to help him balance as he looks for window number nine.

It is over there in the middle Connor, James says as he points to the window.

Connor reaches over...

Oh, I wonder what is in here.  He says.

He looks at the items before opening the plastic bag.

Hmm...how do these go together?

Well I don't know that this is.  Connor says.

Henry and James don't either!

Must be another kind of fence thing?

What do you think it is Henry?  Connor asks.

No idea.  Replies Henry

James, what do you think?

Nope I have no idea either!  James answers.

The boys are stumped!

Advent 2016 - Day Eight

Hi guys!

Hi Henry,  Connor and James say together.

We thought we would open the next two windows.  They tell Henry.

Sounds good to me. Henry replies.

James takes his turn today.

Aha, here is the window.

He opens it up.

and reaches inside.

Ooh, I think I might have a little Lego man.  He tells them.

He unwraps the package.

Look a body...

...and legs...

He puts the man together while Henry and Connor watch.

He is a hockey player.  James tells them.

Look Connor.  James says as he holds the figure for Connor to see.

I'm going to put him on the frozen pond so he can play ice hockey.

Advent 2015 - Day Eleven

James, Connor, What on earth are you guys dressed like that for?  Surely you must be freezing James?  Henry asks.

We are training for the next Olympics.  Connor replies

We sure are, aren't we Connor?  James says as he looks at his twin brother.  We have to work really hard.

Well, I hope you have time to fit in an opening of the Advent Calendar.  Henry says.

Of course we do!  They both reply.

There it is James.  Connor says pointing.  Both he and Henry spotted the window with number 11 on it at the same time.

James looks down to where the boys are pointing.

He shows off his gymnastic skills as he stretches down.

Wow, lots of things in this packet.  He says as he holds it up.

Looks like a cannon.

Wow, excellent!  There is also something to fire out of it as well.

Now if I can only work out how to get it in.  He says to himself.

Henry and Connor are looking down and wondering just where it should go.

I think I have managed it.  James says.

Yup, here it goes.  He says as he puts it down.

James places the cannon down onto the little scene.

Lots of artillery there by the looks of things.  James observes.

Right we must be off I am afraid mate, James tells Henry.

Why?  You have only just got here.  Henry asks.

We have to get back to training.  Connor explains.

Henry is greatly impressed by their dedication to their sports.

More Dressing Up and Festival Outfits - Part Three.

Continuing the 'Dressing up Theme'  where my dolls are being displayed in either the Festival outfits, or special outfits I have made for various Festival 'Dress a Sasha' Competitions... of which the first post can be found here and the second here.

Here we have twins, Connor and James in the 2012 Festival Souvenir Outfits, with a couple of souvenir 'softie's from the Olympics.

Although not strictly 'Festival' Outfits, these two school girl outfits were made for the 2012 Festival for a theme that a friend and I did when visiting the Cotswold Villages on one of the Festival outings. What the children got up to can be seen here

These two good friends are Emily and Molly.

The boys in some of their costumes - previously posted....
