A little project I decided to embark on for Christmas is to make each of my boys a pair of socks. So far I have managed two pairs.
Of course using variegated yarn means they don't always match, despite the best intentions...but then in my experience boys rarely wear matching socks anyway!
Well done Lorraine - and there's me telling Sharon not to bother knitting such dear little items! - these are lovely with the turned heel and I'm sure they'll be much warmer for the boys whilst on their winter exploits!
ReplyDeleteHa ha, yes I saw that! I realised that the boys are really lacking in the sock department and thought what else but a good old fashioned Christmas present for them! I am sure that once they get over their initial disappointment at getting socks for Christmas they will enjoy the fun factor of them!

DeleteYou could always fill them with minature sweets and chocolate or even a tiny toy to make them much more appealing for the lads.
