A post for 17th December - a day late.

This was really a post for yesterday but I ran out of time.  A gift to myself (thanks to hubby's bank balance!) to mark the 17th December, a day of significance for me.  This is my 'Secret Santa' girl.  The one on my Sasha Secret Santa logo picture that I have been using for the last three years when organising the swaps.  I sold her in October 2012 and always regretted it, even though I was happy that I knew who I had sold her to.  Recently I had been thinking about her more and more - waking in the early hours of the morning - very odd, but there you go.  Anyway I was so very very lucky that the lovely Sasha friend I sold her to was willing to sell her back to me.  I am so happy and thrilled to have her back and send out a huge heartfelt thank you for letting her come home to me.  I only hope I can dress her as well as she was dressed while living with her 'other' mother.  I really do feel like my little (or maybe not so little) Sasha family is complete now.

She is wearing a Christmas dress that I made for her.

She has kept her name that was given to her while away from me - it seemed only right that she do so.

Stevie - welcome home.

  4. That's TWO of your ex-blondes that have recently returned home then, Sasha and now Stevie. Any more looking to return to the fold in 2014?
Glad that you have made her a pretty Christmas dress like the other girls already have.
Bet that there will be some 're-united' celebrations happening there over Christmas.

    1. It is indeed Kendal, and very lucky I feel to. Sasha of course moved homes several times before I spotted her for sale yet again when I bought her back. No, I doubt any more will be returning home Kendal - those were the only two that really bothered me when I sold them. I don't miss any of the others at all. I feel quite content with what and who I have now.

I just had to make her a party dress as well - wouldn't have been fair for her to miss out! Yes lots of celebrations indeed, especially among the blondes!
