Most Memorable Characters.

I am sure most people are far too busy with post-Christmas activities, but I thought I would ask anyway:

Not counting Henry, who are your most memorable Sasha & Gregor characters/personalities that have appeared on my blog over the last few years?  This could be interesting as I have my own ideas and it will fun to know what other peoples thoughts are.

I would love to know who brings a smile to your face, makes you laugh, or whatever.

Please either leave a comment - it really is quite easy! ;-) or if you prefer send me a quick email at

Thank you!

  1. My favourite (other than Henry, since you insist) has to be Stevie, who lived here with us for a while! I also love Francis for his style, and Rory for his red hair and his love of frogs.

  2. I like the twins, James and Connor - they're such characters with their matching outfits. They strike me as being a bit eccentric, and eccentric people are always interesting (I'm a bit eccentric myself, but don't tell anyone). I particularly remember the story where they get fed up with Rory's shenanigans and pack up their toys and leave.

    1. Yes I think you are right Steve, those two are rather eccentric at times. I forgot about that story - just had a re-read, it did make me giggle. This is something I want to re-focus on next year - the stories.

You are quite right of course, eccentric people are the most interesting - wouldn't life be boring otherwise? ;-)

  3. Peggy Sue, of course! Even though technically, she isn't a Sasha, she is still a Sasha character, with heavy emphasis on the character part, lol! I always enjoy her adventures, or misadventures, as the case may be! Also Rory, who is a favorite, too!

    1. Ha ha, thank you! I am sure Peggy Sue will be pleased to hear she is considered a Sasha 'Character'! ;-)

  4. Apart from Henry? To me, it's Peggy Sue of course. I like Maddison, and I would love to see more of Tui Renata, who is so pretty. And Baby Bam Bam looks as if he might have some ideas, given the opportunity...

    1. Thank you for your thoughts, Peggy Sue is of course thrilled to see her name mentioned. It is really interesting to see who people like and would like to see more of.

  5. Peggy Sue (an honorary Sasha!) is a favorite of mine, and Rory! How can you not feature a frog-loving boy, right? Francis cracks me up, he's so pedantic. The boys are very tolerant to listen to him!

  6. Rory, Francis, Peggy Sue (the honorary Sasha), Baby Bam Bam are the standouts for me apart from Henry. I think you could also explore the toddler characters.

    1. Thank you. The toddlers do need more exploration, or exposure, you are right.

  7. Hello to everyone at Rose Cottage. I am not sure you want to read this all the way through, because it is pretty long, but I will do my best to answer your question. To me, the most memorable Sasha Dolls, besides Henry himself are Rory, Sweet Molly, and little Ollie, who is Henry's little brother. Christopher William and Anne Matilda, the "twins" James and Conner, and Francis Fearless. I also remember a later Gotz Barbara and Alberto, but I only saw Barbara once, when she arrived; and I only saw Alberto under the boy's list, but do not remember an arrival photo. I wonder, are they are still around? I also remember Tui Renata, and Maddison, because they are both so gorgeous. I also remember the course dolls, because I love course dolls in general, and Baby Barney Bam Bam made a bit of an impression, with his wild hair and wilder behavior. I also remember Ginger George, because ginger babies are rarer.

As to the non-Sasha dolls, besides Peggy Sue, I remember Bobby, because he is Henry's brother and I always enjoy his trying to be cool antics with his cousin Hamish. I remember your adorable little crochet doll that you got in a swap, and your home-made Raggedy Ann, because I think she was wonderful. I remember your Heart for Heart doll, because I have been intrigued by those dolls for a while. I also remember your Wellie Wisher, because she is one of the newest, and I have a generic little doll about Wellie Wisher size that I am trying to find nice clothes for. It would be kind of fun to see yours with an American Girl big sister. Finally I remember your Nini dolls, because I think that they are just amazing!

    Hope this helps.

    1. Dear Elisabeth, thank you for your wonderful comprehensive reply - I thought I had replied to this, but obviously didn't so my sincere apologies. Barbara and Alberto are indeed still around, although they don't tend to feature in my stories...

Love to read who has struck a chord with you and who you remember it has been so interesting! Thank you again and my apologies at not responding!
