Thick, snuggly & rugged for boys

Last week I finished knitting a thick and snuggly jumper for Henry.  I used the same pattern I have been using lately but used double knit wool instead of sock wool and this gave a nice 'rugged' look I thought.

I think it has a real boy look to it.

I even tried a touch of fairisle but it wasn't overly successful.

I next knitted one for Henry's friend Tate, which Peter is modelling.

Yes he is still wearing his Christmas trousers...must get him to change out of them.

He is quite the poser and I can see I am going to have to knit him one soon.

He even tried it 'in action'

Yes he whole heartedly approved of it and so it was packaged and posted last Monday.

Tate seems pretty happy with it as can be seen here.

  1. I like it! :) I have to learn the raglan. I think I did it, years ago, but have forgotten.
