Some 'Show & Tell' on this Last Sunday in September!

I have made another couple of waistcoats recently as gifts for some friends.

Modelled by Francis is this musical themed waistcoat.

This is one of my favourite fabrics and I think this is the first thing I have made with it.

Again modelled by Francis, 'Peacock Feathers Waistcoat'

Beret Number Six has been knitted and Emily decided she wanted it because it 'matched her tights/stockings'!

Marcia

Marcia, my little Gotz No Nose girl is wearing the little outfit she arrived in as she said it was perfectly suitable for autumn.

She would quite like a beret in neutral colours, perhaps to bring out the browns in her dress.

A beret for Meredith.

Another beret!

This time for Meredith who insists that this IS her Autumn dress!

Fortunately the last couple of days have been relatively mild...

She has asked for a cardigan to match the beret...unfortunately there is not enough wool left to make one...which is fortunate as I didn't enjoy knitting with this yarn!

It is a fun beret though!

More Autumn Clothing

My girls are all dressed in their Autumn/Winter clothing, most of which will have been seen before - they don't wear their clothes out fortunately and are relatively undemanding and are happy to swap and change as they wish.  I tend to wear the same clothes year after year, not feeling the need to keep up with the latest 'fashion fads' ...so figured it was okay if they did the same.  Luckily for me they agree, being on a whole a happy bunch and very rarely complain!

Tilly Rose, Danni and Sasha are enjoying the afternoon sunshine and have rather eclectic tastes as can be seen by the clothing that Danni has chosen to wear!

They are discussing girlie secrets....

Or maybe discussing fashion tips! It seems Sasha is completely unfazed by the fact her hat is on sideways!  They could probably do with getting some lessons from Victoria, Weaver and Sally, although I would imagine they are called the 'posh girls'.

Molly is quietly dreaming wearing an outfit I made a couple of years ago which is often seen on Liebe.

Molly is the sweetest girl.

Susan and Cora are ambling along enjoying the mild afternoon.

Chatting away together...

Girls in Pink...

Well the girls in pink got their wishes fulfilled!

Two little pink berets, for two pretty blonde girls in pink.

Weaver chose the plain pink beret, while Victoria decided on one with a white stripes.

Currently on my needles....something completely different!

Blue Beret

It seems my knitting needles are in demand...hats are being requested from ALL the girls!

Sally wanted one!  In blue of course.

She wanted LOTS of photos taken as well.

These girls like to see themselves dressed up in all their prettiness.

Whose next I wonder?

It seems Weaver wants one in pink!

If Weaver gets one in pink (currently on the needles) then I am sure Victoria will want a pink one as well!

Amber's Autumn Dress & Hat

Some more Autumn wear.  Amber admired a hat I made the other day for another doll so I made one for her last night.

Warning:  Photo overload of Amber...just because!

One good thing about having less dolls is you can enjoy the ones you have left so much more.

I am really enjoying this lovely girl so very much.

I am even wondering whether I can cut down even more!

Autumn Pinafore Swap - Checking in.

Checking in to see how you are all doing with your Autumn Pinafore Swap.

Hoping you are all having fun.  Seems strange not to be taking part this time.

I have already had photos from a couple of the participants showing me their finished pinafores, so all very exciting.  Keep them coming in and once everyone has sent and received (don't panic you still have a while yet before the sending deadline) I can start to show the wonderful pinafores you talented Sasha friends have been making for each other.

Dressing for Autumn.

So a week has gone by since the tea party was held in honour of Ryder and his last day.  So what have the family here been up to since I wonder?

Well the girls decided it was far too cold for summer dresses and have all been changing into warmer clothing.

Liebe and BJ look well wrapped up in casual wear.

They both agree it is cold enough to need to wear hats as well!

Victoria has swapped her pink Mondrian dress for this pretty pink dress.

Emily has nabbed the clothes that Weaver arrived in (as she is wearing something else) and is admiring the matching pink hydrangeas.

Yes I took a lot of sweet Emily as she has felt a bit left out of late.

Sally is still wearing her lovely smocked dress I bought at the Sasha Festival and has teamed it with a gorgeous matching jacket.

Emily is pleased to have her Henry to herself again...and they enjoy a walk together.

They return from their walk full of ideas...
