Autumn Pinafore Swap - Part Seven

The next swap partners to show their lovely pinafore swaps are Dorisanne and Theresa.

Theresa was very imaginative with the pinafore she sent Dorisanne.

A cute pinafore with an appliqued tree with a pocket in the front with a 'surprise'.  Theresa sewed beads and sequins on the tree trunk, branches and leaves and made a little sleeveless flowery blouse to wear under the pinafore.

a lovely cardigan with flowers embroidered on the front.

Below is Dorisanne's lovely red head wearing her new pinafore.

The sweater, hat and mittens were knitted from a lovely brown yarn with metallic flecks in it. In addition she sent Sasha a set of eraser puzzles.

Dorisanne sent Theresa TWO pinafores!

The green pinafore is made from felt and has little owls and the word boo on it.  She also made a little bag to go with it.

Tess is wearing two pinafores which i have been sent by Dorisanne and a matching blouse and bag. Excuse Tess's hair but there is a storm blowing at the mo, so i am just glad that she managed to stand up.
The blouse has a lovely owl print anf the orange pinafore is made out of corduroy lined with the owl fabric.
The green pinafore is made from felt and  has volley little owls and the word boo on it, Dorisanne also made a volley little felt bag with an owl on it. I think the outfit is just wonderful and i hope you like the photo's.

The orange corduroy pinafore is lined with owl fabric and also has a cute little owl appliqué on the front with a matching blouse underneath

Well done ladies, these are fabulous and so very creative indeed!

I am still waiting on some confirmations that swaps have been received before I post some photos.

I am waiting on eight to confirm they have received their swaps.
Four people have still to contact me to confirm that they have sent their swaps! Come on ladies, please let me know what is happening.  I am assuming everything is okay as I haven't heard from you or your partners.  I do hope this is the case.

Autumn Pinafore Swap - Part Six

Another couple of Autumn Swap photos to share.

Lauri and Carol S were partners.

Lauri sent this lovely colourful pinafore.

I just love the colours in this and also the brown long sleeve top underneath, they work together so well and are timeless.  I know I would have been very happy to receive such a pinafore as indeed Carol was.

Next up we have a rather funky outfit made by Carol and sent to Lauri, however her daughter Gracie has claimed it for her new Sasha.

Carol did something a little different with the back and I love how the straps cross over.

Great fun indeed!

What brilliant pinafores ladies, absolutely fabulous!

Autumn Pinafore Swap - Part Five

The next swap partners to show their pinafore swaps are Janet and Jude who really made the most of their partnership and swapped lots of fun emails back and forth.  It is so lovely to hear about the success of swaps and new friends made which is what it is all about.

Jude sent Janet this lovely pinafore:

Caroline is wearing her new pinafore and all the extras that were included.

The pinafore is lined with embroidered flowers, a blouse, cardigan, beret and a special stretchy bracelet that Caroline put on before anything else!

My recent beret knitting inspired both Jude and Janet to make berets - so much fun was had indeed.

It was quite amazing really this swap, as although Janet and Jude corresponded with each other, neither gave much away as to what they were making, and yet both outfits turned out remarkedly similar!  Both made a lined pinafore, blouse, cardigan and beret!

Here is Jude's Suzanna opening her parcel.

Ooohhh lots of go

Oh lots of goodies!  Even fancy underwear, how sweet!

Pretty as a picture!

What a wonderful swap between Jude and Janet and how perfectly matched they were.

Thank you to you both for the wonderful photos you sent me and the fun the girls had opening their swap parcels.  Absolutely super!

Monica and Winnie were partnered and Winnie has received her delightful swap from Monica which Monica has blogged about here.

Monica also fully lined her pinafore and added some gathers on the sides with cute little bows.  She also made a blouse and added a cute orange beret.

Very cute indeed!

Winnie made a lovely pinafore for Monica (I am hoping Monica has received it and I am not doing a 'spoiler')

Winnie included matching trousers/pants which is a great idea for when the weather is coldest.

I love the fabric with the flowers, very Autumnal indeed.

Autumn Pinafore Swap - Part Four

The swaps are arriving and I must say what amazing variety and imagination everyone has had.

I think they have really achieved making this a fabulous fun swap!

First up we have the pinafores made by partners Gillian and Betty.

Gillian sent this lovely Autumn/Fall inspired pinafore and top to Betty.

Cute little buttons

Gillian used a batik fabric with the purples and rusts.
She beaded the outline of one of the flowers for a little sparkle.

Doesn't the beading make the flower look fabulous?!

(Sorry about the smallest of the photos but if I enlarge them they loose clarity).

Next up we have the outfit that Betty sent Gillian

Gillian writes:

"Here is Sasha in her brand new pinafore, tights,  blouse, apple for the teacher, and, OMG, saddle shoes!!!  The pinafore is made of a soft black and white fabric with a design just the right size and the blouse is so clever! The sleeves are stuffed to keep them puffed.  The other girls are so jealous."

Isn't that just the perfect pinafore outfit?

Brigitte and Joan were partners...

Brigitte sent a photo of her pinafore as a work in progress which I thought was really fun thing to do!

Just have to love these colours, aren't they wonderful?

Here it is on Joan's lovely Harlequin girl.

Doesn't she just look so pretty in these colours?

Next up is the outfit that Joan sent to Brigitte.

This is the photo that Joan sent me with her girl modelling the outfit.

Below we have Brigitte's lovely Cora wearing the outfit.

Doesn't it look absolutely stunning on her - the dark skin really suits the vibrancy of the reds.

Really super pinafores ladies, thank you so much for sharing!

Autumn Pinafore Swap - Part Two

Anne of Sasha Commoneo was paired with Anna of Doll Mum's blog for the Pinafore swap.  They both had a lot of fun and added a slight 'twist' to their swap and have just blogged about what they did for their swaps. Anne's is  here and Anna's post is here.  Please do check out their blogs as they have a lot more photos!

They decided to make two pinafore outfits and then offer the choice to their partner.  A lot of work by the looks of these fantastic outfits!

These are the two pinafores Anna made for Anne to chose from:

Below we have the two pinafores that Anne made for Anna to chose from:

But do we know which ones they each chose yet?

Which one would you chose if you had the choice?  Gosh what a hard decision!
