The Sea Faring Family

My little red head family now all have sailor outfits thanks to Vicky.

The last to be made is this sweet little dress for Linda.

Blue Gingham and Sailors

A couple of weeks or so ago Laura put up a photo of her blue gingham girls on Facebook, I said I must get a photo of mine at some stage and finally got round to it!

Of course could I get them all looking the same way at the same time?

There were many grumbles about how cold it was and couldn't they pose inside instead.

Strictly speaking, I am not sure Stevie was a blue gingham girl as she actually came in an older blue cord dress, but she decided she wanted to join the girls anyway.

Yesterday BJ's Sailor outfit arrived.  I now have my four red head siblings in sailor outfits thanks to Vicky who made three of them.  Claudius is of course wearing his original outfit.

Very proud they are as well.

Advent Day Twenty One

Hey Ziva, shall we open the Calendar today? BJ whispers.

Yeah, why not?  Ziva replies.  You do it as you have been modelling all those knitted Tunics for Mum.

BJ reaches forward to open the door for the twenty-first day.

Carefully does it...

In her hand goes...

Look!  She says as she pulls out the little gift bag.

A gift box and a guitar.

Another instrument for the band.

I wonder who is going to play this? 

She makes up the little box and puts the guitar in it.

It will be a surprise on Christmas morning.  She tells Ziva.

Where are you going to put the gift box?  Ziva asks.

I think I will put it under the tree.  BJ says as she puts the box down.

The little box is under the three and those two strange orange objects are still sitting on the table....

That was fun, wasn't it?  

Advent Day Six

Hey BJ, no one else seems to be around, do you want to open the door for number six today?  Ziva asks.

Oh yes, that will be good....  Look it is a big door as well!  BJ says.

BJ reaches down to open the door....

A Reindeer!  She says.

Well it isn't Rudolph as it doesn't have a red nose...

Let me put him down there on the outside of the little house scene.

He has his harness on all ready to pull a sledge.

Doesn't he look regal?  Ziva remarks.

The proud reindeer stand ready for action.

I wonder where all the other girls are?  BJ asks Ziva.

I don't know, but at least it gave us a chance to open the door today.  Ziva replies.   I think it is probably too cold for them and they are still all tucked up in bed!  There was ice on the ground this morning.

Tunic Dresses for Sale

I have a few knitted Tunic dresses for sale.

First up is 'Rainbows'  nice and bright for the dull winter days.  

Modelled by both BJ and Cora to show how it looks on different girls.

It does up at the back and has vintage Mother of Pearl buttons that shimmer when they catch the light.
