Hi Lorraine Saffron looks great in her cute outfit. my girls are envious of the clothes and the weather to wear them. It is SOOOOO cold in Wales!
Thank you Jenni. It is warm here today, but it is the first day it has been! I would love to send you a little dress for one of your girls - I will email you to get your address... no rush as I haven't made it yet and have a little list building up of things I need to get on with, but now things are looking up a bit I should be able to get back into sewing.
What a pretty little outfit and a cute girl wearing it! Lorraine did you make this yourself? I love the pattern/style. Is it actually front opening, or is that a false placket that you've put down the front.....if so, I might have to copy your idea, if you don't mind, because I'm looking for something different and that looks really lovely!Big hugs Sharon in Spain xx
Sharon, although most of my girls are dressed in my own creations, this is another I haven't made! It was made by Sarah of Vintage Sasha, and I think I bought it last summer. It is a pretty style isn't it?
Your dolls have to be the most well-dressed Friends in all of Great Britain! You are so lucky to have the gift of sewing...
Saffron looks absolutely delightful in her sweet little vintage-sasha dress. I well remember this outfit coming up for sale on Sarah's blogspot and thinking how lovely the buttons were picking up the colour from the dainty, pretty little print. These buttons are doing their job yet again by beautifully enhancing the colour of Saffron's red hair.Charming photos.
Ah yes, as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it for my redheads - not usually putting reds in orange, I just 'knew' it would look good on them. I think 'Kendal' was the first girl to wear it last year.
Hi, thank you for leaving a comment, we love to hear from you.
