A New Dress for Maddison

Maddison is one of the girls I nearly took to the Sasha Festival but was pulled out of the case just before I walked out the door for the trip to the airport.  It only seemed fair that she got to wear the lovely little dress that Norvell had made.  (This style of dress was made as Norvell's table hostess gift)

She thought it went well with her favourite pink boots made by Marti.

Love the dress and the sweet little roses on it are quite apt for those that live here at Rose Cottage.

Thank you very much for the lovely dress Norvell.

Henry wins a pair of shoes!

The other week Henry entered Macon Street Studio's shoe giveaway and to our amazement and delight he won!  He has been deciding which of his Sasha sisters to give the shoes to and finally decided that Stevie should have them.  Stevie tries them on and is delighted with them.

Look Henry, don't they look good?

Stevie holds out her foot for Henry to admire.

Yeah, they look great. Henry agrees.

Where you going?  He asks

Well I'm not sure yet Henry, but surely I must be going somewhere with these fabulous shoes on?  Stevie tells him.

Stevie also has a new cardigan.

She thinks she looks pretty good in this and I have to agree.

Thanks so very much for the fabulous shoes Monica, we are thrilled with them.

A Parcel arrives for Henry

Henry hears a noise at the door, sounds like the postman has been early today.

Oh look a parcel for me!  He exclaims.

My very own parcel....

Henry takes the parcel and has a closer look.

Shall I see what is inside?

Think I will need some scissors to cut this open.

oooh look a Christmas Stocking and present, how exciting.

A lovely card, gift and Christmas stocking for Henry.

I must go and put this under our little tree.

There, that looks just right.

How lucky am I?

Thank you so much Aunty Kendal and our Sasha AND Gregor Brood for the lovely card and gifts.  I am going to wait until Christmas Day to open them.

Love Henry.

Thank you Aunty Ellen

Henry wants to say a very big Thank you to Aunty Ellen for the wonderful t shirt she sent him.  It reminds him of the dinosaurs he saw in the Natural History Museum in Washington DC when he there in July.

I had to take several photos of him as he seems to look a little pensive and sad at the moment and in the first three photos I took especially so.  These two are not so bad.  Not sure why as he is very happy indeed with his t shirt.

A Wonderful Gift

Yesterday in the post I received the most wonderful present from Norvell,  a friend in the US.  We collaborated  together last year to produce a gift for the Sasha Festival.

This beautiful smocked dress is simply delightful and is the best dress my Sasha girls have in their wardrobe and I feel so lucky to have received it.

My gorgeous Meredith is the lucky girl  chosen to wear it.

I just love the beautiful smocking work.

Thank you Dear Norvell, for being such a special friend and bringing a smile to my face.

A parcel from New Zealand

A fabulous package from New Zealand arrived today.

Baby Grace couldn't wait to feel how soft it was.

Such a pretty colour it matches her jumper

Grace is having a closer look at the colour and softness of this sheepskin rug.

Thank you so much Erica on behalf the Sasha's here, they like it very much indeed and it has gone down a treat with Grace!

Hopefully your little package will be on its way to you by the end of this week, I've been out of action (again!) but hopefully back to things now.

'Wanna be a Rock Star' & a UJ Thank you

On Tuesday we had to go into London to the pain clinic so afterwards we went to Covent Garden for a look around.  I'd hoped to get some more photographs than I did but realised I'd left my memory card out of my camera (again!)  I seem to be making a habit of this.  I managed to get three photos to store on my camera at least.

This guy fascinated Henry as he couldn't quite work out how he could hold that position.  He was going to ask for a photo with him, but by this stage we'd realised we'd no card.

After watching the Olympics and part of the opening and closing ceremonies, Henry was sure he could do AT LEAST as well as some of the wanna be's and has been's and decided he 'wanted to be a rockstar'.

Well turns out my husband Mark is rather a softie when it comes to Henry...

and bought him this guitar!

Henry has already started practising fancy riffs on it!  Just as well he doesn't have an amplifier yet, saves our ears!

Now I was very remiss the other day and forgot to mention in my post that featured Rory wearing the Union Jack shorts, that these were very kindly sent to Henry from Kendal.

Kendal had originally wanted to give them to Henry to take to New Zealand, but unfortunately they weren't ready in time.  She had then hoped to give them to him when we visited in July, but again they weren't ready and finally they arrived the other day and Henry kindly said Rory could borrow them, although he said he would DEFINITELY be taking them to NZ next time we go.

Henry and Rory would like to send a big Thank you to Kendal for these fantastic fun patriotic shorts.

Simon's Special Birthday Gift

Simon is an early to mid 70s blonde Gregor with blue eyes and eyelashes which can just be seen.  He arrived sometime last year...I would need to check my old computer to verify his date, however I have decided that 26th July is his birthday.  Why is that?  Well because a totally unexpected and wonderful surprise arrived in the post today...and it said (forgot to photograph the card...will have to do that tomorrow)  "From my boys to yours...a little gift for your boys especially Simon.'  Well I can assure you Simon is absolutely delighted, having never received a gift before, this was certainly a real treat for him indeed.

Here he is looking slightly overwhelmed and a little shy.

Look Aunty Ellen, it is just perfect!

Thank you so much for the wonderful scooter, it is super dooper!  Watch me ride it.

I push off like this...oh...I'm a little bit wobbly...

That's better...wheee! Off I go

Look both legs standing on it!

Thank you so much Aunty Ellen, such a wonderful surprise.  I really can't quite believe it!  Don't worry I will share it...once I have had a good play first! ;-)
