Pretty in Pink - 2011

A week of 'Pretty in Pink' is currently featuring on FB so I thought it would be fun to reminisce and go back over the years and post photos of my girls 'Pretty in Pink' for each year since 2011.  It is certainly interesting going back and looking at these old photos, seeing things I have made in the past, and the way my photography has improved.  It is also fun  to see who has stayed and who has moved on.

All clothing is made by me unless I say otherwise.

Lucy

As it is Lucy's month and Kendal has kindly sent me a load of photos she had of Lucy I asked if I could put them on here to show off both Lucy and of course Kendal's wonderful photography and collection of beautiful clothes!  Thank you Kendal.

Doesn't she look wonderful in all these great outfits?

1st February - Lucy

On 1st January this year I decided to feature one of my remaining 12 Trendon/Frido girls on the first of each month.  Today is Lucy's turn.

Lucy is a gorgeous 1967 Frido Ballet Red head with full centre part.  She used to live with Kendal, but has been with me well over a year now.  For some reason  it took some time for me to bond with her.

It wasn't until I put her in the outfit shown below (by Bambino Belle) and she told me her name that it all clicked together and now of course she is one of my favourite girls.

Of course there is to be no photography sessions outside today as it is raining!

In the photos I took today Lucy is wearing a dress and cardigan/jacket that I made her.

I quite like her in this colour...

She has such lovely eyes and pretty face.

Letting her hair down & a new dress

Apparently Lucy emailed Aunty Kendal (who used to be her previous mother) last night to get her to ask me if Lucy could wear her hair down.  Talk about feeling slightly second best ;-)  Anyway how could I refuse such a request really?  So here she is with her hair down wearing her new winter dress made this morning.

Trying to get the right light today has been very difficult.

Such a pretty fabric.

I love this style of dress on Sasha dolls and as such it is one I make often.

Later today will be the details of the Christmas Swap.  I've been sewing all morning so need to make it look like I am busy doing housework now!
