Fashion on Friday

Well this week has been a bit of a wash out as far as the weather is concerned!  All my plans for being outside pretty much scuppered so inside activities it was. I have had a couple of days where I haven't felt the best either so I mostly knitted, but did a little sewing.

I knitted sleeveless top

which has been teamed with a pair of 'beach' striped crop trousers/pants.

I knitted a red jumper/sweater - a reflection of how cold it has been this week I think.

The rompers all got matching booties.

Babies need to keep their feet warm at times!

These little sets will all be going in my Etsy shop hopefully this weekend.

A couple of things were made for my other dolls, and I have some new and ongoing projects...

Babies at play

The babies had  a lovely time playing yesterday.

The rocking horse provided a lot of entertainment.  Isaac was the first to have a go.

That's it Issac, I'm sure you can manage, but do be careful

Amelia is looking up at him, and it looks like Alfie is coming to join in the fun as well.

Ah, do love the horse do you Issac?

Give him a nice big cuddle.

Grace and Amelia are enjoying the beads.

Look out Issac, looks like Alfie is coming to join you.

Careful Alfie, I'm not sure if two babies can fit on there at the same time,

Oopsadaisy!

I hope you two didn't hurt yourselves...seems to be a lot of giggling going on.

And some good ol' rough and tumble

Now don't get too rough with each other.

In the meantime...

Grace grabs the opportunity to have a ride

As does Amelia.

Funny how the girls go at it at a much more leisurely and gentle pace.

I've added some new dresses for Sasha for sale on my Clothing for Sale page here.

More of Henry's Fashions coming soon...had a bit of a set back pain wise the last couple of days.

I've also added a few dolls on my Dolls for Sale page here.

Pop Up Pirate

Such a wet day today that we decided not to risk the motorways and stayed at home instead of travelling to Cambridge to visit our friends.  So Henry decided to sit down with Tilly Rose and two of the babies, Alfie and Amelia to play 'Pop Up Pirate'.  There were lots of giggles going on and amazingly no fighting over the different coloured pirate swords.

Henry puts in his blue sword...

Tilly Rose puts in her yellow....careful now....

Yeah says Henry, whilst Alfie cheers alongside, I won!  Poor Tilly Rose put in the sword that made the Pirate pop out of his barrel.

I've left them there playing...the sun is coming out now, so they may suddenly decide to pack it in and ask to go outside.

Blue today

Henry has been taking it easy today after the battles with the dragon yesterday so one of my pretty red head girls has stepped in to do some modelling.

She is wearing a lovely outfit purchased from Ebay teamed with JJ Blue Shoes which match perfectly.

Henry is coming with us to visit friends who live in a village near Cambridge tomorrow, so he is hoping the weather will be dry enough for him to do a little adventuring.

Here's hoping!  The forecast isn't the best, still he has a raincoat!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since photographing my Sasha babies the other day I have decided to sell three of them, they really are getting sadly neglected and would like new homes where they are loved that little bit more.  I also really don't 'need' two blonde boys and two brunette girls, even if they are different.  I am also going to sell my baby Sandy.  Will sort out prices and pictures in the next couple of days, hopefully sometime on Thursday or Friday.  I think my Sweater girl has also been making rumblings about moving on...
I am hoping to build up a doll fund, for when that special 'must have' is available!
So if anyone is interested either email me, or keep checking back on my Dolls for Sale page.
Weekend makes.
I haven't made many clothes for the babies yet, not being especially happy with what I'd made, but yesterday I got the formula right! Sitting pretty on the grass playing with daisies is Amelia.
A beautiful delicate butterfly print set against a lovely blue really suits this young baby girl.
She really is fascinated with the daisy.
Look isn't it pretty?
Such a sweet heart in her new dress.
Saturday I thought I'd try making a different type of coat for Sasha.
Using a curtaining remnant I got sometime ago, off I set to work.
Apart from the pocket placement, I am really pleased with how this turned out.
I think it meets with Sasha's approval as well
Just right for the cooler evenings that will soon be approaching.
Have a lovely week!
