Emily & Henry go shopping.

Emily and Henry decided to go and do some shopping for Mum as she fell and hurt her back yesterday.

Henry looks into the trolley...

Shouldn't we buy some fresh stuff, like greens and fruit?  He asks Emily.

Nah, this is our chance to have pizza, fish fingers and other yummy things.  She replies.

Henry doesn't need much convincing and in fact, suggests they stop off at McDonald's on the way home while they have the chance!

Ah, he says as he relaxes back on the seat...  What is your favourite?  The chips of the hamburger?
Emily looks at Henry, I think I like the chips and the milkshake! She replies.

Once finished they head back home, pushing the trolley.

Once the groceries are put away, Henry and Rory take the trolley back to the supermarket.

Looks like Kermit and Wee Jock have hitched a ride

'We'll be coming round the mountain when we come...We'll be....  Kermit sings at the top of his voice!

Secret Santa Swap Gifts Revealed - Part Seven

Yes that is right, some more Secret Santa Swap Gift photos to be revealed...

Yesterday I received a lovely email from Ginger with photos of the gifts she received for her new boy Drew.

Drew stays on the Mac all the time so I do have to put it away now and then to help him be well rounded :)

Drew is sitting with his friend Chloe, a beautiful brunette NP who has her dog Champ with her.  Drew's little dog Duke is giving a nice big smile to the camera!

Here we have some photos of Drew with his friends Finn (with dog Fetch) and Jimmy (with his dog Jabo)

I've included all the photos as I thought they were such lovely boys that they were worth looking at in all their different poses!

Thank you Ginger for sending the photos of your lovely Secret Santa Gifts.

The boys outside

The boys have been out in the garden today.

Rory took Kermit out to see if they could find any frogs....

They didn't of course... partly because I don't think Kermit stopped singing the whole time they were out there, that if any had been around, they would have been scared off.

Henry took Wee Jock outside...

and then had to try and rescue him...

I think Henry had a hard time getting him down!

Henry was ever so surprised to see some buds on the daffodils.

Hooray for the first signs of spring!

1st February - Lucy

On 1st January this year I decided to feature one of my remaining 12 Trendon/Frido girls on the first of each month.  Today is Lucy's turn.

Lucy is a gorgeous 1967 Frido Ballet Red head with full centre part.  She used to live with Kendal, but has been with me well over a year now.  For some reason  it took some time for me to bond with her.

It wasn't until I put her in the outfit shown below (by Bambino Belle) and she told me her name that it all clicked together and now of course she is one of my favourite girls.

Of course there is to be no photography sessions outside today as it is raining!

In the photos I took today Lucy is wearing a dress and cardigan/jacket that I made her.

I quite like her in this colour...

She has such lovely eyes and pretty face.

Henry & Wee Jock the Highland Sock Monkey

While I was busy looking for something in the sewing studio the other day, Henry spied Wee Jock, the Scottish Highland Sock Monkey.

Wee Jock has been sitting on the shelf in there for oh, goodness knows how long...he has been with us at least a couple of years!

He seemed very pleased with the attention and Henry, who is feeling somewhat sad , was pleased to have someone to care for and talk to.

Let's go for a walk, Wee Jock.

Edited to add:  The fabulous sweater was knitted by Erica.

RIP Erica McLeod.

It is with deep sadness that I write this.Erica, a fellow New Zealander and one the loveliest Sasha collectors I have been fortunate enough to have had both email contact and telephone conversations with has sadly lost her courageous battle with cancer.

Erica McLeod will be remembered with fondness by many. She took part in our Christmas Secret Santa Swap and I know she was delighted with the gifts that Anna sent her.  She worried about not getting her gifts off in time, but I know would have worked hard to have achieved the very best she could.

I am lucky enough to have a couple of her gorgeous knitwear for my Sasha kids and a lovely sheepskin that I will treasure.

Our thoughts go out to Ian and family at this sad time.  We will always remember her contribution to the Sasha World.

Meredith in Pink

I finally got round to sewing the buttons on a jumper I made last year for one of my KnC dolls, however I thought I would try it on Meredith as she was still in her Christmas dress.

I actually really like it on her and was surprised how well it fit.  It does make her a little more 'grown up' but as she is my eldest Sasha that probably isn't such a bad thing.

I just love this girl and was so thrilled to have been able to get her last year...even if she did mean my 'downfall' and resulted in having to sell many of my other dolls.

Such a lovely face.
