Boy in Garden - 14

I am delighted to introduce a new boy to the Gregor family at Rose Cottage.

Meet Gwilym also known as Wil

He rummaged around it the clothes box and this is what he came up with....

..a slightly different combination than I perhaps would have chosen!

He seems quite happy with the outfit though.

He investigates the pond and sees if he can find any wildlife.

He is certainly studying something very intently!

Right looks like it is time to head off to explore some more of the garden.

Handsome lad isn't he?

  1. Hello Wil! We have a brother called Gwilym too and a Kidz.n.cats cousin called Will, too.
Hope you are fitting in well with your new family.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you, though.
    Best wishes,
    Emrys

    1. Hi there Emrys, I am named after the caretake/guide who gave an excellent talk at Ty Mawr. Fancy you having a brother with the same name...although I guess it isn't that strange, you living in Wales and all... I have yet to meet the Kidz n Cats boyz who live here... My new family are great, well Francis is a bit unusual, but the others are all pretty cool.

      Best wishes,
      Gwilym

  2. Lovely eyes! It takes real style to pull off an outfit like that. :-) Gwilym has excellent self-esteem.

    1. It certainly does doesn't it?! Either that or completely oblivious to what anyone else might think! I think it is nicer to think he has excellent self-esteem.

  3. Boys mostly don't care at all what they are wearing, but this one seems different! When you look at all the attention he has given his hair (every single hair in its place!) it seems obvious that he 'd rather like to stand out, combinationwise. He is marvellous. I have a feeling he may get on with Francis pretty well too. Love, Fanny

    1. Do you know I think you are probably right Fanny. I don't think Gwilym realises that actually he and Francis both like to 'stand out from the crowd' a bit...once they get to know each other I think they may become quite good friends.

  4. Poor Francis, he does seem to be a bit of an outsider, doesn't he? Perhaps he and Wil might find they get along well?

    1. Oh no, they all love him really...he is just a bit different with his nose in a poetry book all the time... I am thinking Wil and Francis will get on very well.
