Saturday morning saw some of us up bright and early setting up our 'Dress a Sasha' Competition entries.
The theme was: 'Sasha, a groovy, modern girl' and there were two categories. A Groovy Sasha showing fashions of the 60s through the end of the Serie production in 1986, and Sasha in the 21st Century, anything after 2000 and into the future.
There were some incredibly imaginative and fun entries and I think all who entered enjoyed themselves.
I know I had fun. I hope to eventually add names to all the entries...
There are two categories in each division:
A: All clothing to be made by entrant. Shoes, socks and accessories may be purchased.
B: All items assembled by entrant.
Each division was split into age groups.

CONGRATULATIONS! Oh, and to Henry too, for standing still for so long whilst modelling!
ReplyDeleteYou had stiff competition there, Lorraine. The outfits and ideas were very inventive across the age ranges.
Thank you Jenni, stiff competition indeed and I was shocked and overwhelmed to see I had won as I never usually win anything, wihether competitions, raffles etc...so overjoyed. So much fun and effort put into all the outfits.
DeleteI thought I recognised Henry in that very groovy Beatles outfit in photos on other blogs, but wasn't sure. Very well done to you and Henry, what a great achievement.
ReplyDeleteThank you :-) Henry enjoyed being Paul McCartney for the day.
DeleteWonderful post! Thanks for posting the entries and the winners :) xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ginger :-)
DeleteVery cool works!
ReplyDeleteThe night you posted Henry's win, I'd just watched the Beatles Anniversary concert and was having a quick look at Facebook before bed - quite a surprise to see 'Paul' on the Sasha site!
