My Sale Items have been packaged up ready for the Sasha Festival.

Here are a few of them....

Some dresses for Course or Studio Dolls

Rompers for babies.

My CFA Donations are finished:

A lovely blue romper suit for baby Sasha/Gregor knitted with gorgeous soft New Zealand wool

An outfit for Gregor - all handmade by myself, shoes, socks, sweater, cap and Kiwiana trousers/pants.

Not long now!

My Sasha Festival Donation.

My Sasha Festival Donation this year is matching outfits for Sasha & Gregor.

My two models seem somewhat distracted!

That is better!

I have used the iconic New Zealand 'Buzzy Bee' fabric to make a dress for Sasha and Gregor has a matching vest/waistcoat along with a pair of trousers and a shirt and of course a buzzy bee (kindly added to the donation by Trish Smith - which came from Erica originally).

I still have some more things to finish, but have been working on the 'wardrobe' for the Sasha Celebration weekend donation, plus have been out of action this week unfortunately.

My Sasha Festival Donations.

I have finished my Sasha Festival donations in memory of Peggy Trauger.  I am hoping to take some nicer outdoor photographs them this weekend, before I post it off on Monday.  The weather the last couple of days has been shocking, rain all day yesterday and overcast and damp today.

I chose to use Peggy's 'Alice in Wonderland' pattern.

Charlotte is modelling this lovely dress and apron.

Matching under pants.

Such a sweet outfit.

I have also made a 'Mothers Little Helper' Apron

Modelled by Sally.

I hope to try and make another of these over the weekend as well to add to the package that I send off.

I also made a couple of sun hats.

This is the first.

This is the second floppy sun hat.

The sweaters I made in memory of Joan Wilson were sent off earlier in the year and I showed them individually here.

Next up we have 'my' donations made for the Child Fund Auction.

This pretty little dress made in the studio style with pantaloons was made with a vintage tablecloth

I have also had printed a hard back photo album highlighting Henry's year month by month.  This album includes just over 100 photographs.

Now I just have to finish the socks for the Jean Jensen memory donations.

'Joan' Cardigans finished

I have finished knitting the six cardigans I am donating to the Sasha Festival 2014 in memory of Joan Wilson.

I have made three for the girls:

Steel grey

Cranberry

Multi-coloured

Three for the boys:

Chocolate Nepp

Pebble

Denim Nepp

I also finished my KAL Duds for Dudes project which was to knit two matching cardigan/sweaters for the 'twins' Connor and James

I also used Joan's pattern to make these - it is one of my favourites and I have used it a lot in the past.

The colour is 'Gorse Nepp'

James and Connor look very smart in their matching outfits.

They are wearing their matching Jean Jensen boots that she made them last year

More 2013 Sasha Festival Donations.

I finally got round to making the raincoat which is part of my contribution to the Donation that Rosie Shortell has organised for the 2013 Sasha Festival.

There are a few other things that will go with the collection as my contribution, but I don't want to completely spoil all the surprises!

Sasha Festival Donations

I will be posting my donations for the Sasha Festival Children's Auction off to the USA on Monday.  I thought I ought to try capturing some better photos for my records.

Donation for Children’s Fund Auction, Sasha Festival 2013

A beautiful dress made in the ‘Sasha Studio’ Style from a Victorian Child's Christening Gown by Lorraine Tyler of ‘Muriel Makes’.  I made use of the beautiful handwork reminiscent of the Victorian period in the making of this dress.  There may be slight imperfections/discolouration due to the age of the fabric, but all add to the charm and ‘little bit of history’ of this lovely dress.  Dress donated by Lorraine Tyler.

This photo is 'just because' she is so pretty - the detail of the dress is lost!

Next up was the cardigan I made for joint baby outfit Marti and I made and are donating.

Next is the 'Erica Sweater'  in memory of Erica McLeod - a fellow New Zealand Sasha lover who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Both sweater and cardigan have been knitted with 100% New Zealand Merino wool.

I am also contributing to the project Rosie has organised....my outfit yet to be completed, hoping to get on to it next week as I should have more free time as my older son is off to join his ship and flies back to Sydney tomorrow.
