Henry & Wee Jock the Highland Sock Monkey

While I was busy looking for something in the sewing studio the other day, Henry spied Wee Jock, the Scottish Highland Sock Monkey.

Wee Jock has been sitting on the shelf in there for oh, goodness knows how long...he has been with us at least a couple of years!

He seemed very pleased with the attention and Henry, who is feeling somewhat sad , was pleased to have someone to care for and talk to.

Let's go for a walk, Wee Jock.

Edited to add:  The fabulous sweater was knitted by Erica.

  1. Sorry to hear Henry is feeling blue. I do hope Wee Jock chears him up (he put a smile on my face). Did you knit Henry's sweater? It's fabulous!

  2. Oh no, why is Henry sad? I'm glad he's found a little friend to share his feelings with though!
That's a lovely mushroom sweater too!

  3. Wee Jock looks like he would be a cheerful companion for Henry on this, a saddish kind of day...

  4. That's a very fitting tribute by 'Dear' Henry for Erica by sporting one of her equisite sweaters.
I do hope that the sock monkey helps him to cheer up a little after the hearing of this very sad news.
