Just Chillin'

Bobby and Hamish are out in the garden

Just hanging around as young lads often do

Along comes Henry and asks if they have seen anyone go up into the tree house

What?  They ask.

Henry points 'The tree house!  Have you seen anyone go up there?'

They look over.   'No, We haven't seen anyone go up there.  Why?'

I am sure I saw someone up there.  Henry says.  Come with me, let's have a look.

The boys wander over to the tree house ladder.

Who's going up first?  Henry asks.

I'll go.  I've been up before so I can help Hamish up.  Bobby says.

Bobby climbs the ladder.

Almost through.

Bobby pokes his head and shoulders through the trap door and climbs up onto the platform.

Come on Hamish.  Bobby calls as he reaches a hand down.

Hamish climbs the ladder with Henry watching below.

Hamish reaches up for Bobby's hand and Bobby helps him up.

Next up is Henry

Henry has climbed the tree house ladder many times before

Here you go.  Bobby says as he grabs Henry's hand to help him up the last little bit.

Thanks guys.  Henry says.  So what do you think?  Has someone been up here?

I am sure I saw someone up here....Henry tells the boys earnestly

Well there is no one here now apart from us Henry.  Hamish tells him.

Strange... Henry says....I would have sworn I saw someone up here....  Never mind.  He shrugs...

The boys hang around for a while - talking about their plans...

A little while later Henry is seen sitting in one of the trees pondering....

I just  know someone was up there....he says to himself.

More Dressing Up and Festival Outfits - Part Three.

Continuing the 'Dressing up Theme'  where my dolls are being displayed in either the Festival outfits, or special outfits I have made for various Festival 'Dress a Sasha' Competitions... of which the first post can be found here and the second here.

Here we have twins, Connor and James in the 2012 Festival Souvenir Outfits, with a couple of souvenir 'softie's from the Olympics.

Although not strictly 'Festival' Outfits, these two school girl outfits were made for the 2012 Festival for a theme that a friend and I did when visiting the Cotswold Villages on one of the Festival outings. What the children got up to can be seen here

These two good friends are Emily and Molly.

Jasper my Autumnal Boy.

I have been wanting to add a red head Course boy to the family here at Rose Cottage for a few years now and finally found THE boy!  He didn't take very long to arrive and was all I imagined and more. To say I am absolutely delighted with him is an understatement.  Sometimes the wait is worth it! Sadly I missed out on his sister, and was rather gutted...but good things come to those who wait, so hopefully we will find him a sister in the future.

Introducing Jasper

My Autumnal boy - he just loves the changing leaves from our Maple tree.  He tried to play 'snow angel' but with leaves.

In the end Jasper decided there weren't enough yet so sat up and played with them instead.

Just loving his face and his fabulous clothes.  He came shoeless so I made him a brown and a black pair of shoes.

Loving my boy Jasper.

He makes me smile.
