Sunday Summary - The week's knitting.

Henry, having got his new hair deserved a new sweater and I had been wanting to make this one for a while with my special Arapawa NZ Wool.  This wool is from a rare breeds sheep and is just wonderful and perfectly 'boyish' I think.

He is certainly pleased with it and hasn't taken it off.

I have knitted a couple more dresses for my Etsy Shop

Sparkly purple, this dress would of course look fantastic with the appropriate boots!

The back

Plus hot pink - again with glitter/sparkles through it, although the colour is difficult to capture at our current levels of low light.

Maddison of course thinks it goes perfectly with her hot pink boots and this time she is right!

A Christmas dress for Tilly, 'A Girl for All Time'

On my needles to be finished.

I'm not normally one to put feedback on my posts, but was thrilled to get this lovely message in reference to the cardigan and beret above that I showed last week:

Hi Lorraine, Received my sweater today and am in total Awe of your talent. Such tiny stitches and your workmanship is amazing! I LOVE THIS!

Fourth Sweater, Cap & Socks set

I have finished the fourth sweater, cap and socks set and it seems Peter has claimed it for himself...he couldn't wait for a matching cap to go with his other sweater and socks...I think he was a bit worried that I wouldn't have enough of the yarn left...I think he might be right as I looked today!

Again knitted with the fabulous Waikiwi yarn that I got while in New Zealand, a mix of NZ Merino, Alpaca and Possom which gives it its warmth.

Sideways view of his cap which he is pretty pleased with.

The colour suits him nicely I think.

Showing off his socks!

Trying to look 'tough'.

Now he is ready to join the other boys.

Henry's Knitwear

Continuing the photographs from my sorting through Henry's clothes the other day ...we have the knitwear.

The wonderful mushroom sweater & hat and cricket vest were made by Erica for Henry and are truly treasured items in Henry's wardrobe.

This fabulous pirate sweater cap were made by Gill and given to Henry by Tobias and his Motley Crew and you  can read about it here.

Henry's sailing ships...the top was given given to him by Rosie S and the bottom I bought for him.  Henry often wears these when we go to visit the Sailor.

This is the sweater he arrived wearing - funny but I don't think he has ever worn it since!

These two I made for him. The top cardigan I made in NZ in 2012 and the bottom I finished a few weeks ago.

This fabulous vest I bought from Linda and it is of course one of his favourites.

This sweater was given to him by Margaret and you can read about it here although Henry often lets the girls wear it as can be seen here where we have Susan wearing it.

So I think that sums up the knitwear....
