Henry comforts Stevie.
It is with much sadness that we hear that Sara Doggart passed away yesterday 26th January.
Henry and Stevie remember with fondness Sara who along with her husband John were responsible for their 'birth', the manufacture of the wonderful Sasha Dolls at Stockport during the whole time of production.
All the Sasha and Gregor family here at Rose Cottage would like to send their condolences to the Doggart family and also send a message of thanks for their determination in producing such a wonderful doll that brings enjoyment and delight to so many.
Das tut mir sehr leid!
ReplyDeleteI'm so very sorry. My condolences to the Doggartfamily!
Well Said Lorraine xx
ReplyDeleteVery sad about Sara Doggart - may she rest in peace. What a legacy to leave to all of us - the realisation of a belief that artist dolls by Sasha could be such wonderful play dolls produced commercially for many years.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with the Doggart family at this sad time.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lorraine. Very sad news and my prayers are with the Doggart family during this time of loss.
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to say what a lovely lady Sara Doggart was. I had the privilege of living with her and looking after her for 18 months before she went into care. May she Rest In Peace after a very long and eventful life. Xx
ReplyDeleteDear Christine, thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment and tribute to Sara. What a privilege indeed it must have been to have been able to spend that precious time with her. She and John left a wonderful legacy and I think our lives have all been enriched either directly or indirectly by the Doggart family.
